Time to camp at our favourite destination. Not all the campers could go. Pikkie Kriel and his
wife, Gerda and myself and my spouse went. It was cold in the evenings and a bit windy during the day. In all we did 3 trips during the weekend. The mammals were excellent and we saw a nice variety. Pikkie added 7 species to our webpage.
Specials for us: Wattled Lapwing, Blue-mantled Flycatcher, Black-headed Oriole. Make sure spending time in the bush between the campsites. We always get some nice surprises. It is always a treat the see the various buck species. The cherry on top is when the Common Duiker come and visit us in the camp.
