Route to Enseleni from Richards Bay.
Enseleni Nature Reserve is a small wildlife area close to Richards Bay town. It’s popular for day trips and has pretty grasslands and forests full of birds. The Enseleni River flows through the reserve, providing a home for diverse wildlife. Birdwatchers can see rare species like the African Finfoot and Pels fishing owl, purple crested lourie, White-eared Barbet, and Nightjars. There are also some mammals. You can not camp here, but there are nice picnic spots and an education center. There are two trails, Nkonkoni and Mvubu, with beautiful scenery.
You pay a small entrance fee per person to enter the reserve.
